Before creating I hate the High Street, I worked as a Costume Assistant in the Film Industry for ten years. I did lots of big feature films and TV productions and dressed stars like Renee Zellweger and Jennifer Aniston. I have always had an interest in what people wear and I love clothes.

After I had my daughter I found it really difficult to get to the shops, let alone try anything on - the High Street with a pram is a nightmare! I've always wanted my own shop so it was a natural step for me to set up my own internet boutique.

So I hate the High Street is for ladies like me; busy, style conscious women who don’t have time to go shopping. We offer authentic, current season, everyday wear for women and children with an emphasis on good fabric and design. If you like shops like Whistles or French Connection and get your children’s stuff from places like Gap and H&M then you have just found your online alternative.
